My clever sis has reconfigured the nursery to accommodate her new little angel.  She requested a black, white, gold and silver garland to match. You can see more of her gorgeous pics on her Instagram and blog. Love.

Maternal Feast

 

Our Mothers Day table. An afternoon of cake eating with our mum - who has is mum to 5, my sisters who have 6 kids between them, me with only a bump and my brothers...add husbands, girlfriends, presents for a  sweet bustling feast.

Wisdom & Motherhood

Hope all the mums out there had a beautiful Mothers Day. We had such stunning weather in Sydney.

My computer has been soooo slow lately I have had to give up on trying to post for a while so am running a bit behind. For some reason after a rest, its back to full speed again!

I made a puffy heart cake topper and bought this gorgeous soap from Seventh Tree. Star tag is the start of the new star garlands I have planned (...they need more practice).

Confetti Fair

The lovely lady who ran the small but beautiful Confetti Fair did an amazing job.

My fave little stalls were Noah & Willow (I found my wedding pics & garland at the stall they helped Tealily set up for One Fine Day); 3's a Party- check out the fox baby shower (more pics here), so fresh and original
Ashdown & Bee; Bon Bon Boutique (loved the flowers); and I got to meet the sweet and very clever Dewi who made my wedding cake

Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth to come this year so get there if you can!

All By Himself

Mr went to the florist all by himself on Friday after working on the house all day and these were waiting for me when I got home. I think they're the most beautiful I've received.

Afternoon Delight

 I feel like I haven't posted a decent update in ages.  Mr and I have been very slowly trying to build a concrete deck.  The walls have been removed and our bi-fold doors and windows are finally in (yay! - you'll see in the 3rd pic down the window on left and doors on right and the unfinished surrounds). The  sunshine streams in. This bottom pic is taken from the unpoured deck looking in.

I also popped into the School to visit Kara and her caravan a few weekends back and picked up a few treasures.  Some are in the cupboard still wrapped up for when we eventually get to doing up the bathroom.

My final Hawaii food post. Was so good to taste new flavours, the bread at BLT, the ginger fish at Alan Wong's, the papaya, local honey and sprinkling of bee pollen.

A New Corner

Mr and me have been working hard on our little house. It looks a fright from the outside still but we have been sorting and scrubbing on the inside.
